A Short Story of 2150 Years
Let me tell you a story… My own healing journey started many moons ago with something as simple as nervously going to a then very alternative practitioner. This was completely against my beliefs as a scientist. It was an osteopath. Of course, osteopathy is now often considered mainstream. It is payable by medical insurance, and available in some NHS places. How our perception changes…
Further on the healing path, I became a professional energy healer, and my clients called my services New Age London. The New Age actually has quite a profound meaning. You see, there are signs that we are at the beginning of the astrological Age of Aquarius. An astrological age that the Earth undergoes is about 2150 years. This is how long it takes for the Earth to gyrate towards one Zodiac region in the sky. It is not quite clear when the Age of Aquarius starts, but most accounts seem to say it has started in the 20th century.
The New Age – What Is it?
Astrological ages exist as a result of precession (change in the orientation of the rotation axis of a rotating body, the wobble of the Earth’s axis) of the equinoxes. This movement is said to take something in the region of 25000 years to complete one cycle. About every 2,150 years, the sun’s position at the time of the vernal equinox will have moved into a new zodiacal constellation. As a result of this precession, the fixed stars rise and set against the earth years in such a way that at the first day of spring, which is the spring equinox, the constellation of Aries no longer rises but the constellation of Pisces does now. These are all rough figures, but they give us an idea of what an astrological age involves in terms of space and time.
Humanitarianism, Computers, and Harmony
The ages are said by some astrologers to affect mankind and correlate to cultural changes and the rise and fall of civilizations. So what does the Age of Aquarius mean to us? Well, Aquarius has been linked to democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealism, modernization, nonconformity, enlightenment, the expansion of consciousness, philanthropy and altruism, truthfulness, harmony, perseverance, rebellion, computers, flight, and electricity. These are all being experienced increasingly more, and so one can deduce that we are somewhere near the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. And so, it is expected that we will move towards greater humanitarianism, democracy, and freedom in the next couple of centuries. Whilst some astrologers dispute this fluffy Utopian description of the Age of Aquarius, most seem to agree that it is the age of increasing humanitarianism and the fellowship of mankind.
Let Us Elevate Our Lives To A Better State Of Being
p style=”text-align: justify;”>The New Age movement, born in the 1960s, is often associated with the arrival of the Age of Aquarius, where the first New Age leaders will lead others into the age. The movement is associated with spirituality, humanity, and new ideas about how we can elevate our lives to a better state of being.
